How this academy was built

Originality

All lesson text, diagrams, cases, tools and charts are original GlobalVet material written from published veterinary consensus knowledge. Published schemes are taught with attribution and are never renamed as ours: the ISCAID 2025 canine pyoderma guidelines, the WAVD consensus guidelines (dermatophytosis 2017, demodicosis 2020, Malassezia dermatitis, meticillin-resistant staphylococci 2017), the ICADA guidelines (diagnosis and treatment 2015; the feline set 2021), the AAHA 2023 Management of Allergic Skin Diseases in Dogs and Cats Guidelines, the CAFA 2015 critically appraised topic on elimination-diet duration, the CADESI-4 lesion scale, the COSCAD'18 core outcome set and the OTIS clinical score. The six named frameworks (the I.T.C.H. Map, the S.L.I.D.E. Cytology Method, the E.A.R.-8 Otitis Loop, the F.O.O.D. Calendar, the S.T.A.P.H. Stewardship Ladder and the C.U.R.E.-2 Dermatophytosis Protocol) are GlobalVet teaching tools, not published clinical guidelines.

How the numbers are checked

Every number, threshold and answer key in this course traces to a named drug label, consensus guideline or peer-reviewed paper listed below. Drug ranges and diagnostic cut-offs are educational reference values. Before relying on any number, verify it against a current formulary and your practice protocols. Report an error: info@globalvetco.com.

Engine-drawn figures

Every diagram in the lessons, cases and tools is drawn by the course engine as inline SVG: lesion cross-sections, pattern maps, decision trees, culture timelines, dose bars and recheck gates. Cytology fields drawn as schematics are captioned "schematic"; real micrographs come only from the licensed image set and are never AI-generated.

Scene photographs

Any scene photographs on this site are AI-generated illustrations of the clinical setting and technique. They do not show real patients or real findings, and no finding, dose or decision in this course depends on them.

Clinical photographs and micrographs

These real photographs and micrographs are openly licensed (Creative Commons BY or BY-SA, or public domain) and credited under every image; crops are marked. Two come from human medicine and are labeled "human teaching analogue" because the organism or cells look the same.
